Sequoia Field Institute Custom Programs

Imagine having your own personal naturalist to explore these National Parks! Hire a naturalist or guide for a half day or more to show you the sights, teach you about natural history, or even lead you on an overnight backpack adventure. We will tailor these experiences to your needs and will customize a program for your family group, club, business, or school. Call us at (559) 565-4251 or email us at: SFI@sequoiahistory.org.

Examples of other people's adventures with us: guided snowshoeing through the Giant Forest and beyond, service learning projects for young people, custom geology field trip in Kings Canyon, researching natural and human history for a writing project, father/daughter backpacks, families using our guides to get kids excited about the out-of-doors, college orientation trip, cross-country National Parks trip collecting birds for a life list, motor coach tours, your dream realized goes next!

“We absolutely loved our tour. [Our guide] was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the park. However, more important, she is an absolutely delightful person, and she knew exactly how to make the hike special for my two grandsons (6th graders).”
- A.E. from Maple Grove, MN.

“[Our guide] was absolutely wonderful guide, both before our day with [her] and on our 8-hour ‘private tour’. Every time I emailed or called with questions regarding planning my trip to [the National Parks] she was thoughtful and full of ideas and guidance. On the day we took with her, she was a wealth of information and positive attitude. Many kudos and gratitude to [our guide].
- J.C. from Philadelphia, PA.

“[Our guide] was fun! She is very knowledgeable and considerate of us seniors.”
- R. & A. J. of Sacramento, CA.

“[Our guide] was excellent. Great experience for our group.”
- Perkiomen Tours, Spinnerstown, PA.

“Dear [guide]! I just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed the couple of hours that we were privileged to spend with you. Thanks so much for all your insight into the ecology and birds of Sequoia Country! Everyone, including myself, found it very entertaining and enlightening. . .” - N. from Denver, CO.
