Giant Sequoia Grove
There are 33 groves, or grove complexes, of giant sequoia trees protected within the monument and available for visitors to explore. The groves and individual trees that are easiest to reach by passenger vehicle are Converse Basin Grove and the Boole Tree, Indian Basin Grove, Belknap Complex, Long Meadow Grove and the Trail of 100 Giants, and Freeman Creek Grove and the Bush Loop Trail.
Looking for an adventure to more remote locations? No worries, there are plenty of those, too! You may want to visit Bearskin, Evans Complex, Wishon area groves, Packsaddle, Deer Creek groves. Be prepared: there are no facilities at these locations, roads may require high-clearance vehicles, and some groves are only accessible by cross-country travel on foot.
