Tours available June through August.
Tuesday and Wednesday at 1:00pm

In this 1.5 hour tour your child will learn about the world of cave exploration by participating in their own cave adventure! The young explorers will be provided all the necessary gear- helmet, light, kneepads- before entering the cave with their two trained cave naturalists. The group will leave the paved trail, away from the tour lights, for a short trip to "The Well" that lies below the main level of Crystal Cave.

All Junior Cave and regular cave tour tickets must be purchased at either the Foothills or Lodgepole Visitor Centers. Junior Cavers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the Cave Booth. Parents must remain in the Cave Booth area for the entirety of the tour. Cavers and their accompanying adult meet at the Cave booth no later than 12:30pm. Adults may attend the 1:30pm regular cave tour while children are caving; however, we cannot guarantee regular cave tour availability. One adult per child is welcome to accompany cavers to the cave mouth. The adult may pick up their Junior Caver either at the cave opening or up at the cave booth.

Junior Cavers must be in good physical condition, able to climb over large rocks and have no fear of small or enclosed spaces (claustrophobia). Sturdy boots with good soles required. No tennis shoes or open toed shoes. Participants should expect to get dirty.
