SEQUOIA FIELD INSTITUTE (SFI): the educational division of SNHA

The Sequoia Field Institute (SFI) is the educational branch of the Sequoia Natural History Association (SNHA). SNHA is the non-profit partner to the National Park Service in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and USACE Lake Kaweah. Each year, SFI presents opportunities for park visitors to enjoy the parks. The educational adventures,  or EdVentures, range from living history, astronomy, extensive backpacking trips, natural history walks, kids’ programs and winter sports to name a few. EdVentures  are a great way to connect with others and stroll the  parks with the local experts. You're sure to find a programs that creates a memorable experience of learning and fun. If a more personalized park experience is what you seek, SFI offers guide services customized to your specific interests. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds remains in the parks.
