Have an experienced naturalist hop aboard or better yet, take your group for a walk among the big trees. Give your clients a park experience to awe over. Sequoia Field Institute’s naturalist guides specialize in telling the stories of these Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks from the point of view of hikers, scientists, passing visitors, historians, geologists, hydrologists, wildlife biologists, and mountaineers. Not only do we really enjoy reliving these adventures, but we’ve also received high praise for up-to-date information and quality from the overwhelming majority of the 55,000 annual participants in the Sequoia Field Institute’s programs, including motor coach step-on tours, custom programs, EdVenture courses, Crystal Cave programs, and much more. Our guides can fill your itinerary or provide you with tour options by supplying an experienced naturalist to help you connect to the best attractions in the parks. We provide pre-trip tips and tricks, consultation, permits, excellent instruction, support, and top-notch fun for those preparing to connect to the parks during the trip of a lifetime.

EXPERIENCED- Since 1940 the Sequoia Natural History Association (SNHA) has been the only in-Parks designated primary educational partner. As the educational arm of SNHA, the Sequoia Field Institute has a wide menu of offerings: Up to 55,000 people a year join us for coach tours, cave tours, backpacking trips, arts programs, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, star gazing, volunteering, etc.

To show appreciation to our guides, please consider a tax deductible donation to the Sequoia Natural History Association.  Donations can be made at any register in a park visitor center and bookstore, by mail, or on our website.  All donations and fees go to support educational programs and resource protection in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
